Ingredients:
1 whole chicken
1 onion , finely chopped
2 tbsp oil
2 bay leaves
5 carrots , peeled and sliced
3 ribs celery , sliced
salt
pepper
fresh parsley

Instructions:
  1. Put the whole chicken in a large pan and cover with water and add the bay leaves. It will take about six to eight cups of water to cover the chicken.
